Batman & Robin (1997)

Joel Schumacher, hired to cure the Batman franchise of Tim Burton’s vision deemed “too dark,” took that job description to heart by making his second outing in the series a much lighter, kid-friendly take on the Caped Crusader.

The titular duo (George Clooney, taking over for Val Kilmer as Bats and Chris O’Donnell reprising his role as Robin) must take on the sexy but sinister Poison Ivy (Uma Thurman) and the cold as ice Mr. Freeze (Arnold Schwarzenegger) who threaten Gotham with… hilarious puns, I guess. Children went wild enough for this movie to beg their parents to spend a fortune on licensed merchandise (myself included).

Are those toys still valuable today?
