“The Debt” HD Trailer Starring Helen Mirren, Sam Worthington, Tom Wilkinson, and Cirian Hinds
My first thoughts upon seeing the trailer for The Debt was how well the actors were cast for the two separate time periods. The actors share a lot of uncanny resemblances with the actors portraying the same character at a different ages. It isn’t perfect, but it is enough to keep the suspension of disbelief going in a film like this. This is a high profile crime thriller that is being released at the end of the year, presumably to be put in contention for award season. If that doesn’t make you excited then just look at the cast. Sam Worthington is out to prove he is more than just a pretty face. Helen Mirren and Tom Wilkinson are names that have been associated with high quality films over their careers, and they only seem to be getting better with age. A trailer like this really makes me excited for the glut of films that always comes out at the end of the year.
