Fall Movie Preview 2014: FURY, INTERSTELLAR, GONE GIRL and More

2. Birdman

This is said to be Michael Keaton’s comeback. This much anticipated film is said to be shot and edited to look like one extended take. Keaton plays a washed-up actor who attempts to revive his career by writing, directing, and starring in a Broadway play. Emma Stone and Zach Galifianakis co-star.

1. Gone Girl

The film by David FIncher, based of the best-selling novel, stars Ben Affleck as a husband who is suspected of murdering his wife. A lot of this film was shot in Cape Girardeau, which is creating even more buzz locally. A lot of familar sites in Cape are shown in the trailer of the film. This film is easily the most anticipated of the Fall, and will most likely garner a ton of Oscar buzz.
