4. Showgirls – The Pool Scene

It may seem hard to remember, but there was a time when everyone was surprised to see Elizabeth Berkley turn to what was essentially soft-core porn.  Then everyone realized she was an actress on a beloved, but awfully scripted and acted Saturday morning TV show, and went on with their lives. Berkley took the role to separate herself from the straight laced Jesse Spano, who she played on Saved by the Bell, and went a little too far in the other direction. Here on display is her “acting” ability where sexual passion apparently turns into intense seizures.
