Top 10 WWE Wrestlemania Matches of All-Time, in Honor of Wrestlemania 29 on April 7

1. Triple H vs. Chris Benoit vs. Shawn Michaels (Triple Threat Match) Wrestlemania 20

It was hard to put any match in the top spot given the fact that so many great main events have taken place over the years at Wrestlemania. But, I will always remember this match because the title was put on Benoit. For a guy who had been a solid mid-carder his entire career, this signified that he had worked his way to the top. It’s a shame his demons got the best of him in the end. Michaels and Triple H, both heels in the match, were at the top of their game. All things considered, this has to be considered one of the greatest Wrestlemania moments of all-time.

Honorable Mention: Shawn Michaels vs Steve Austin with guest referee Mike Tyson at Wrestlemania 14

This is one of my favorite matches of any Wrestlemania. Michaels was with Degeneration X and fans loved him for his crazy antics. Austin had just begun his reign as top dog in the WWE. Throw in Mike Tyson, and this was an explosive main event. The build up to the match was solid, as Tyson could not be trusted by either party. Maybe not one of the best, but definitely one of my favorite storylines from Wrestlemania’s past.
