Ten Movies ’90s Kids Love… But Do They Hold Up?

YES

Instead of taking the easy route and making Spy Kids a typical James Bond affair for kids, Rodriguez lets his inner child take the wheel, constructing a story that is pure fantasy, but brilliantly captures a child’s idea of why being a secret agent would be so cool (especially the gadgets).

The film has the visionary dazzle, action-packed excitement and brain power to be a timeless classic that old fans can revisit with their children.

As for the sequels, I would let them self-destruct.
