My Take: Tadd has been blowing me away since I first seen him. Some of the things he does are just out of this world and tonight was no different.

Now for the results: The first one sent off in fourth place is Tadd. Next to go in third is Marko, bringing it down to Melanie and Sasha. After Melanie and Sasha give us another rendition of their performance from Week Seven, Cat Deeley comes out and announces that with a total of 47% of the votes to 32% for second place Melanie Moore is the winner of So You Think You Can Dance Season Eight.

First off why did they bring Katie Holmes on this show? She was not entertaining (actually rather dry and boring….like Katie Holmes is) and her judgement was nothing that I couldn’t have said. Personally, the voting ended the way I thought it was going to with Melanie winning, but the eliminations before that were a little off in my eyes. Overall Marko should have came in second because of what he has done in the past weeks and I thought the voters would see that. Really my only issue was the Marko and Sasha order. Other than that, I thought it turned out the way it was supposed to. So my congratulations go out to Melanie Moore who is this years winner. She will enjoy the quarter of a million dollars that she has just won. She will also appear in Dance Spirit magazine and have a role in this fall’s Gatorade G Series ad campaign.

This has been the best season of SYTYCD that I have ever experienced and from the get go it has had my attention and I hope for the upcoming seasons, they can keep the talent as good as it has been for the shows sake. I, personally, am a fan of this show from here on out because of this season.

Let me know what you thought of the results and of this season of “So You Think You Can Dance”
