The 90’s were a great time for rock music fans.

Bands such as Alice In Chains, Bush, and Candlebox enjoyed great success. From hit videos on MTV, to selling millions of records, all three acts experienced some of the highest of the highs.

On Saturday night, Bush, the headliner for their ‘Greatest Hits Tour,’ brought Candlebox and guitarist and founder of Alice In Chains, Jerry Cantrell along for the ride.

Candlebox opened and sounded as strong as ever. Singer Kevin Martin sounded so good you would have thought it was 1991, not 2024. The band energetically cranked through hits ‘Cover Me,’ ‘You,’ and ‘Far Behind.’ The band released their 8th studio album in 2023.

Jerry Cantrell took the stage next. The founder of Alice In Chains and guitar virtuoso played some of his own tunes and a few Alice hits like ‘Man in the Box’ and ‘Them Bones.’ Cantrell’s band was on point, as it sounded like late-AIC frontman Layne Staley was on stage.

Bush closed out tonight and frontman Gavin Rossdale showed why he was one of the premier frontmen of the 90s. Now 58, Rossdale somehow looks and seems to have the tenacity of a 28-year-old.

For a summer filled with many rock concert options, ‘Loaded:The Greatest Hits Tour’ delivered and Rossdale and company made sure fans not only got the hits, but their money’s worth.
