LegalGuard_CovLegal Guardian, the first book of a series by Beau Woodall follows Curtis Ambrose as he is starting his senior year of high school.  Within the first couple of days of his senior year, Curtis has managed to mysteriously heal from a roller blading accident, fight with his enemy and win, and get the girl of his dreams.  The only weird thing, minus the quick healing, is that he keeps mysteriously blacking out.  On top of all of this he is in a weird love triangle with his best friends Kristin and James.  There has to be a reason for this, right?  There is.

Legal Guardian is a young adult fantasy book and for a first effort it is good.  The story is interesting and easy to follow.  The plot is decent.  In fact, the only problem I have with this book is the editing.  There were numerous mistakes with grammar as well as typing errors, making it difficult to read and look unprofessional.  I found the errors distracting, and it took away my focus from the characters and story.  If you are in the mood for a light read, I would recommend this book.

Legal Guardian is a B.
