10 Truly Cringe Worthy Movie Scenes

Have you ever been to the theater and watched something so bad it filled you with a sense of shame? Did a particular scene embarrass you so bad that you couldn’t concentrate the rest of the film?  Despite all of this, did you tell all your friends about it, and how they should probably avoid it? These cringe inducing movies can be a lot of fun, because the entertainment lies in the jokes that stem from them over the year. Below is 10 scenes from movies that are guaranteed to make you cringe.

Author’s Note: I left out many films that were deserving. Films like The Room, Birdemic, and Plan 9 From Outer Space all fit this bill, but I wanted it to keep it mainly to studio films. You may not agree with all of them, but let us know what you think in the comments. Share your best cringe worthy scenes.

10. Mac and Me – McDonalds Scene

The first movie on this list almost feels like cheating. The film is one of the worst reviewed movies of all-time, and despite what 4-year-old me might say, it deserves the honor. The film is so bad that Paul Rudd uses a scene from it as a running gag during his appearances on Conan O’ Brien.  It’s hard to choose which scene is the worst, but the one below is likely to take the cake. Any film that includes a dance off in McDonalds that includes dancing football players, and scenes of extreme choreography is bad enough. However, it might not even make the list if it weren’t for the dancing alien in the teddy bear suit. Mac and Me was ultimately a failure, but likely did okay due to the obscene amount of product placement in the film.
