  • My wife and I met over what was eventually to become the Internet, but back in the late 80s, it was Bitnet. We stayed up talking late at night with two other people, and even arranged a fake wedding between the four of us. During the "service", the other woman "got cold feet" and took off, and the other guy freaked out (because unknown to us he'd had something like that happen for real), so my wife and I were left to be married by a helpful dragon.

Twenty years and three kids later, we're still together.

  • BTW, guys, it would be really helpful when posting these contests to let us know when and where the previews are, so we can tell if we can make it before entering.

    • We are not able to post the dates unfortunately. We only notify the winners of the dates. It's so people don't show up to the screening and expect to get in without a pass. Hope you understand. Hey, it is still a free movie! :)

  • I was fixing a flat tire one summer morning when a hot guy pulled over to help me. I was very grateful for being able to make it to work on time and not waiting on road-side assistance, so I asked him if I could treat him to ice cream after work. Now, we celebrate anniversaries at Ted Drewes (for dessert).

  • all in all ... i feel the movies "before sunrise" and "before sunset" tell a pretty amazing and yet believable love story. their romance is better than anything else i can think of.

  • I'm not sure if you are wanting a true love story or a movie...so I will do both. : )

My favorite romantic movie is NOTEBOOK. It shows true love always wins out.

I met my first husband when he was putting gas in my dad's car. I sa

  • sorry...to continue...I said Do my Dad a favor and marry me...and he said I think my Dad would be happier. We saw each other a couple days later and started dating, fell in love and married. : )

  • Well,
I met my boyfriend of almost three years on Myspace. I would constantly search for new friends to add and would always see his picture. One day, I decided to add him...he had an upside down face for his profile picture :) We started talking, met at my church, went on a few dates, and started dating soon after. After all the first hugs, kisses, holding hands, and dates, we fell in love. I always thought meeting someone off the internet or "soul searching" was for those people who don't believe love can just happen. I believe I found my soul mate that day. That is my love story. (We are currently promised and hope to be engaged and married)

  • I saw Tristan and Isolde last night. It was a really good movie which showed how strong love can be between two people. It was awesome!

  • i met my husband at a pool. i was a lifeguard and he was a camp counslor. he used the kid he was looking after to win over my heart. well it worked. the kid got my attention by pretneding to drown so i would have to jump in. after the kid was punished for pretending to drown and put on probation from the pool, my husband and i began dating. three years later we got engaged. last tuesday we celebrated our 2 year anniversary and each day we spend to gether is a new adventure.
