The series looks to be heavily influenced by 300, and has an impressive list of producers including Sam Raimi and Steven S. DeKnight.

This is not the Spartacus of the Kirk Douglas epic of 1960.This new version (of what I saw in the first episode) was replaced with lust, pornography, adultery, rape, and homosexuality,lewedness, obsecene language.I might be the only one .....I'm not watching!!!
