Scorsese, though, has continuously put out excellence in a career spanning decades. In honor of The Wolf of Wall Street, we pull out all the stops and recap some of our favorite Scorsese films.
Kevin takes us back in time to Taxi Driver, when Scorsese’s career was still nascent. Joey Butts moves us forward a decade with The Last Temptation of Christ. Steve discusses Martin’s first collaboration with Leonardo DiCaprio in Gangs of New York, while Matt talks about Shutter Island. In Blake’s absence (RIP), special guest Jon talks about Hugo, Scorsese’s first venture into 3D film making.
So kick back for a bit, take in our soothing tones, and pour out a little liquor for our fallen homie, Blake.
Note: Blake is actually still alive and just couldn’t make the podcast. RIP.
