-George Carlin passed away this week, his comedy will be missed. Kevin Smith also put together a nice tribute.

-G.I. Joe will have the subtitle Rise of the Cobra with Transformers 2 losing the 2 and be subtitled Revenge of the Fallen.

Paramount made a Billion dollars in less than 6 months, which is just silly.

-Not a fan of his music and never seen his films, but the poster for Rob Zombie’s new flick is flipping awesome!

-Is 39 Clues a clue to Spielberg’s possible future projects?

-More Inglorious Bastards talk and a great pic of Tarantino in the article.

-Anna Faris looks to star in the Linda Lovelace biopic, Inferno, about the life of the troubled porn star. This one also stars Sam Rockwell.

-Cool poster for Blindness, the new film from City of God and Constant Gardner director, Fernando Meirelles.

Band of Brothers is going Blu, can you say DVD of the Year?

-WB is releasing some more catalog titles this fall as well on Blu, 300(with all the HDDVD features), Casablanca, and JFK, were all recently announced to go along with Shawshank Redemption and L.A. Confidential that are already planned. Oh, and Goonies might sneak out as well!

-Shia LaBeouf’s next, Eagle Eye, has a full trailer; you can also check this out on Wanted this weekend.

Arrested Development(it’s at the bottom) is almost definitely getting a movie next year, the comedy gods are shining on us today. It helps that Cera and Bateman have become pretty big stars, along with Arnet being a bit of a hit for some.

-Guy Ritchie’s latest RocknRolla has a trailer. Looks familiar, but that is a good thing with him.

-Joss Whedon’s online musical, super villain web series has a teaser. It stars Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion.

-Kung Fu Panda II work has already begun, that makes this man excited!

-Steve Zaillian has a new spy thriller, about a photo journalist with intertwining plotlines, he previously wrote American Gangster and Gangs of New York.

Lots of Watchmen news straight from Zack Snyder’s mouth on the red carpet of the Saturn Awards. He and Frank Miller are also working on a potential sequel/prequel to 300.

-Tarsem Singh’s (The Fall and The Cell) next will be a Greek epic, ala 300 blue screen style, called War of Gods.

-A cool list of music videos by Michel Gondry, director of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Blu-Rays are selling like hot cakes!

-Louis Leterrier, Transporter and The Incredible Hulk, just signed on to do the Clash of the Titans remake.

-The Wanted and 3:10 to Yuma writers have a new script called, All Creatures Great and Small, about a world where humans aren’t the dominant animal on the planet and must fight for survival.
