Jason Segel and Ed Helms Co-Starring in “Jeff Who Lives At Home”

Jason Segel and Ed Helms are going to be the lead in the stoner comedy Jeff Who Lives At Home by Jay and Mark Duplass. Producing the film with them will be Up in the Air director Jason Reitman (Watch a video of our interview with Reitman here).

The film which is written by the Duplass brothers, follows the day in the life of two brothers. One is a slacker (Segel), and the other is more well adjusted, but slightly overbearing (Helms). The film is set to shoot in Louisiana next month.

Talk about a cast and crew of rising stars. The Duplass brothers have seen their career rise steadily over the years, and are the main pioneers of the mumblecore genre. Ed Helms is just the next person in a long line of Daily Show correspondents who have found more fame outside of the show. The Segel seems on course to continue to play a convincing everyman character. His career maybe hasn’t hit the heights of fellow Freak and Geeks co-star Seth Rogen, but he is quickly approaching those heights. Not to mention the fact that Jason Reitman who is batting a thousand so far in his Hollywood career.  This looks like it has some great potential.
