“This morning, I did something I’ve never done in my life,” Letterman said. “I had to go downtown and testify before a grand jury.” In front of the jury he had to testify to affairs with female staffers of his own show. “Would it be embarrassing if it were made public? Perhaps it would,” he said on the show. “I feel like I need to protect these people. I need to certainly protect my family.”

I hope his ratings don't go down. He is human. He makes mistakes. Life goes on. Looks like he is owning his mistakes and paying the price for them. It doesn't change my feelings for him at all. I probably like him more, because he is more human. I never thought he was perfect. I mean, come on. get real. He's just like you and me. Only with more money, which makes him a bigger target.
I like David Letterman. This does not change that.
He has come out honorable in my opinion.
