Dancing with the Stars Season 9 Contestants Announced; Mark Dacascos, Kelly Osbourne, Tom DeLay Among Stars

Although it feels like season 8 of “Dancing With The Stars” just ended, and probably because it did, ABC is already ramping up for Season 9. And contrary to the rumors that have been floating around the internet, Paula Abdul will not be competing. But here are the 16 contestants that have been confirmed for season 9 —

  • Aaron Carter – Singer / Nick Carter’s Brother
  • Natalie Coughlin – Olympic Gold Medalist Swimmer
  • Mark Dacascos – Chairman on Iron Chef America (Pictured Right)
  • Tom DeLay – former Texas Congressman
  • Macy Gray – Singer
  • Ashley Hamilton – Shannon Doherty’s ex-husband
  • Michael Irvin – Football Hall of Famer
  • Melissa Joan Hart – Played Sabrina the Teenage Witch on Nickelodeon
  • Kathy Ireland – Supermodel
  • Joanna Krupa – Model Actress
  • Chuck Liddell – Former UFC Champion
  • Debi Mazar – Plays the publicist on HBO’s “Entourage”
  • Mya – R&B Singer
  • Kelly Osbourne – Daughter of Ozzy Osbourne (pictured left)
  • Donny Osmond – Brother of Marie Osmond
  • Louie Vito – Professional Snowboarder

    Donny is an evellent performer. The material he performs in concert contains a variety of notes that Mr, Osmond guys with perfection. He becomes his music. They are one. His dance last week failed to exhibit this oneness. Last night he did it. He became one with his dance. Excellent performance Donny!
