Concert Photos: Alice Cooper, with help of band, puts on fun show

At 76-years-old, it’s amazing that Alice Cooper still has the energy to perform and entertain the masses. Yet, the rock singer not only performed on Sunday night at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, but he also put on one entertaining show.

Cooper, considered the original shock rocker before the likes of Marilyn Manson and others, has had pretty much the same show for years. This was the 5th time I’ve seen him, and I don’t think it’s changed much, but that’s just fine with myself and all of his fans.

Performing hits ‘Poison,’ ‘I’m Eighteen,’ and ending with ‘School’s Out,’ the crowd was on their feet nearly the entire 15-song set.

Cooper is joined by one of the best bands in all of rock music. Guitarist Ryan Roxie, bassist Chuck Garric, drummer Glen Sobel and guitarists Tommy Henriksen and Nita Strauss add an element to Cooper’s show that cannot be duplicated. Simply put, Cooper’s band is to die for.
