Check out HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE on XBOX 360

Summon the wizard within you.

In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince the Video Game, Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Like earlier video game releases in the Harry Potter franchise, the action in Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince the Video Game revolves around the exploration of Hogwarts and the action that results from what you uncover. During their adventures, players will have a chance to engage in exciting wizard duels, mix and brew magical ingredients in potions class and take to the air to lead the Gryffindor Quidditch team to victory. Players may even get sidetracked by Ron’s romantic entanglements as they journey towards a dramatic climax and discover the identity of the Half-Blood Prince.

  • I'm looking forward to the movie because the book was amazing! I want to see how they portray all the most interesting parts from the book...looks awesome!

  • The movie should be pretty good, even with some slight changes/additions. I really can't wait to see how the ending is done as Half-Blood Prince is probably my favourite of the 7 seven books. It'll be good to have Quidditch back as well.

  • HBP was one of the best in the series. I'm hoping the movie doesn't focus too too much on the romance aspect and that it keeps the dark tone of the book. We'll find out soon!

  • Having enjoyed all of the movies thus far, should be a good watch.

Why wouldn't I be excited for it?

  • I'm excited because the trailer this time looks so good I can't think of a way to mess it up like the last few films.

  • Having grown up reading the books, and watching them come to life on the big screen, I am really looking forward to this. With some of the most intense moments in the series, I cannot wait to see how they translate this to the movie.

  • I want to see how they portray that big spoilery moment in the book (we all know which one it is).

Oh, and Emma Watson doesn't hurt either (don't look at me like that, I'm 19 like her).

  • I'm looking forward to the upcoming movie because the advance reviews so far have reported that this iteration is supposed to be very good. I'm relieved to hear this because I thought that the last two movies were rushed and dreadful.

At the very least, it looks like they finally got a competent Director of Photography because screenshots from the film looks gorgeous, with incredible detail and color.

  • I can't wait for the movie. I've read and re-read all of the books and have seen all of the movies in the theater. I plan on taking my nephew like we've done for the past 3 movies and we'll have a lot of fun.
