2010 Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony and Final Medal Standings – Vancouver, British Columbia

It has truly been an exciting 17 days. But all good things must come to and end. the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia are finally coming wrapping up, as the closing ceremonies are currently taking place. There have been many exciting moments, and many touching ones as well.

In the end, it was a great success for USA – taking home a total of 37 medals! 9 Gold, 15 Silver, and 13 Bronze made up the first place spot for the United States this year. In second place, Germany came in with 10 Gold, 13 Silver, and 7 bronze Medals. Third place went to Canada; they received 14 Gold medals (the highest amount in this year’s games), 7 silver, and 5 bronze medals.
