Synopsis:

Bad Blake is a broken-down, hard-living country music singer who’s had way too many marriages, far too many years on the road and one too many drinks way too many times. And yet, Bad can’t help but reach for salvation with the help of Jean, a journalist who discovers the real man behind the musician. As he struggles down the road of redemption, Bad learns the hard way just how tough life can be on one man’s crazy heart.

In order to enter the contest, simply leave a comment at the bottom of the page with the reason why you want to see the movie. Please feel free to make it as fun / entertaining / believable as you want. Winners will be chosen at random and notified via e-mail. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

Screening is Thursday, January 21 (7PM) at Landmark Plaza Frontenac Cinema. Please note that winning passes to “CRAZY HEART” does not guarantee admission to the film. You must arrive early as seating is first-come, first-served. It is usually safe to arrive at least 1 hour or more before show time!

  • I think this is going to be a very heart-warming movie a must see. the story sounds very interesting. You make choices as you are younger hopefully good ones but sometimes you make a few not so good but hopefully you learn from them to make your life worth it. thanks,

  • I have seen the trailers and read from several sources that this is Jeff Bridges best work ever. I like the song track also.

  • Love moving stories and this one sounds like one. Love country music, which of course is full of love, heartache and life lessons!!

  • Simply said, Ryan Bingham is one of the most talented singers out there today, I've been a fan for a couple years. I saw him on Letterman tonight, and figured any movie that combines his music and The Dude has to be worth seeing.

  • Is this The Wrestler meets country music? Maybe I need to research this more. In any case it looks like it will make me blubber like a baby. I'm down.
