WATCH THE TRAILER

Taking Woodstock, the new film from Academy Award-winning director Ang Lee, is a 1969-set true story about a man, Elliot Tiber (Demetri Martin), who inadvertently played a pivotal role in making the Woodstock Music and Arts Festival into the famed happening it was. Mr. Tiber found himself swept up in a generation-defining experience that would change his life, and American culture, forever. Based on the book by Mr. Tiber with Tom Monte, the screenplay adaptation is by Mr. Schamus.

  • If I had to pick my favorite band of all the ones who performed at Woodstock, I'd have to choose Jefferson Airplane. As to why I'm interested in seeing the film, I'm mainly curious to see how Demetri Martin does in the film -- I've only seen him before on The Daily Show.

  • I need to get in touch with my inner Aquarious. Please send free tickets my way :-)

Peace, Love and all that stuff,
    Jane

  • I liked alot of the music played at Woodstock...and it's amazing that it's the 40 year anniversary already.
    I like Blood,sweat,& Tears
    and the WHO

    All music rocks!

  • Hmm...I like all music but I guess I would have to say Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix.
Want to see the movie to hear all the music again.
    Peace!

  • Arlo Guthrie had just done Alice's Restaurant and I was hoping to see him perform...we were planning to go and my group got a job for that weekend.

  • It would be great to see the movie Woodstock and songs by Aquaris this movie would bring back fond memories. Thanks again for the chance to do that. Peace

  • It is really hard to pick just one--Joe Cocker singing 'with a little help from my friends' is iconic--but I think I will have to go with Jimi Hendrix.
