I am of the opinion that ‘Band of Brothers’ is one of the best things ever produced for television. I was happy to hear that Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg were creating a new miniseries for HBO once again set in WWII this time chronicling the war in the Pacific. I think I might have my most anticipated TV event of the year. There is no solid release date yet, but it should be out by end of the year or early 2010.

March 14th is when the first episode will air. I also share your opinion, Band of Brothers is by far the best peice of film that I have ever seen. Hopefully The Pacific can reach the same standard.
The entire series has now been released it was was great! Everyone should check it out
