From producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski, the filmmaking team behind the blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, comes Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ The Lone Ranger, a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice–taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.

  • Im very interested to see what they do with this movie. GOD, its been forever since Ive seen The Lone Ranger at my grandmas house when I was a kid. I think they had it on channel 24, lol. Just showed my age. LMBO! But has Johnny Depp ever been in a bad movie. I dont think so. #stoked!!!!

  • Why am I thinking of F-Troop when I look at Depp ?
    Maybe he should play three roles......Tonto , Hammerto and Camelto.

  • My Dad watches westerns to this day. So I hope that this is better than those old westerns.

  • It'll be nice to see Gore Verbinski and Johnny Depp re-team and take on classic "The Lone Ranger" after their success with the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and the incredibly underrated "Rango".

  • I remember the old series I used to watch. It would definitely would like to see Johnny Depp pull off the role of Tonto.
