St. Louis Post Office Closings – Government Looking to Close 700 Offices Nationally

The Postal Service is predicting that they may report a loss this year of around $7 billion dollars! This is a huge hit to government service, especially since the price of postage keeps increasing. The internet, including e-mail and social networking sites, and rising gas prices are amongst the culprits that are affecting the postal services. The Post office has already compiled a list of almost 700 offices that they are considering closing here.

  • After the experience I just had at the Fredrick n. weathers branch I hope that it is closed for good I wanted to purchase a (1)postage stamp the lady at the window said "you just want 1 stamp and all you have is a twenty dollar bill" I said yes she then said "I don't have change for a twenty" That was very unprofessional and she must of left her customer service skills at home!
