Sports: Blues lose Krug for season

The St. Louis Blues announced on Tuesday that defenseman Torey Krug will undergo surgery on his left ankle address pre-arthritic changes.

Krug, 33, signed with St. Louis on Oct. 9, 2020. He dressed in 77 regular-season games for St. Louis last season. He posted 39 points (4 goals, 35 assists) to go along with 32 penalty minutes.

In his four seasons with the Blues, Krug has 22 goals and 124 assists. He’s played in a total of 255 regular-season games with St. Louis.
