16: ‘Gravity’ Starring Sandra Bullock, George Clooney

This week on Reel Spoilers we are set adrift on memory bliss in space.  Well, we’re not but Sandra Bullock and George Clooney are.  Ok, technically they’re not either.  But the characters they play are, in fact, set adrift on memory bliss.  Dammit!  Why can’t I stop doing that?  In space.  They’re set adrift in space.  There is no memory bliss.  If time has taught us anything, it’s that.

Also, we do some Gravity fact checking courtesy of Discovery News and former shuttle astronaut Leroy Chiao. All this plus Dan gives us a video recovery that would became one of the odder television shows of 1970s.

But you will not, I repeat, will not be set adrift on memory bliss. Unless you have affection for pseudo-science repackaged for the first-run syndication market.  And who are we kidding… of course you do.

Damn you, PM Dawn.  Damn you straight to hell.

You’ve been warned.
