I have just recently been getting more into movie scores. It’s amazing when you think about the power of music in film. The great themes that are instantly recognizable for classic films. The tension that can build. The emotions that can be forced out of a viewer just by the right music.
Hans Zimmer is one of the composers I have been listening to lately. Partly because I am anticipating The Dark Knight Rises so much and partly because I love his work on Sherlock Holmes, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Inception.
