U2’s highly anticipated eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour opens next week and will visit St. Louis as only the 2nd city on the tour – Friday, May 2nd at Scottrade Center. And with the production now fully developed, promoters Live Nation have announced that a new block of excellent seats at all price levels have just been released.
The eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour will see U2 return to indoor venues, picking up where 2015’s ground-breaking iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour left off. The eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour follows the recent release of the band’s 14th studio album Songs of Experience. As with every U2 tour, this new arena production will explore the latest in cutting-edge technology. The eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour is a development of the unique and innovative staging of the 2015 tour, featuring multiple performance areas, a state-of-the-art sound system, plus an all new super high-res LED screen nine-times the resolution of the 2015 screen.
Also just announced, fans attending the concerts can download an innovative new app which promises a new kind of experience at a rock’n’roll show. Inside the venue, before the band arrive on stage fans will be able to view a specially curated AR scene-setter – triggered by the 100-foot-long LED wall running the length of the arena floor. For the full concert experience, download the U2 AR eXPERIENCE App for iOS or Android … and see how it responds to the Songs of Experience album cover image. Then bring your phone to the gig for a U2 show experience like never before – and share your U2 AR eXPERIENCE with all your friends. You can experience the app on the iPhone 6 and above, running iOS 10+, or on the Samsung S6 and above, running Android 7+.
Tickets for eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour next Friday, May 4th in St. Louis are on sale now at www.ticketmaster.com.
