Zookeeper Premiere

The World Premiere of “Zookeeper” was at our very own Saint Louis Zoo on Wednesday June 29, 2011, and featured a list of local celebrities that included former Cardinal Great Jack Clark, current Cardinal DL filler Adam Wainwright, current Blues players TJ Oshie, Ben Bishop, Patrik Berglund, Carlo Colaiacovo, and Louie (The Blues Mascot). It also featured some guy from the Bachelorette but no one seemed to care about him. The Zoo also brought out some of their best animals just for the event as well. The event was highlighted by an appearance by Kevin James himself.

“Zookeeper” stars Kevin James as Griffin Keyes, a loveable but loveless Zookeeper. When a group of zoo animals decide to break their code of silence to help Griffin, he immediately freaks out but when they start helping with his love issues he’ll take any advice to find his one true love.

“Zookeeper” features an All Star cast of Actors like: Kevin James, Rosario Dawson, Leslie Bibb, Ken Jeong, Donnie Wahlberg, and Joe Rogan. With the likes of Nick Nolte, Sylvester Stallone, Adam Sandler, Cher, Judd Apatow, Maya Rudolph, Jon Favreau, and Don Rickles as the voices of the animals.

“Zookeeper” opens in theatres nationwide on Friday July 8th.
