American Idol Season 5 Contestant Katharine McPhee is promoting her new album, “Unbroken,” and is stirring up the headlines. But not because of a new sound, or a hit single. All of the buzz is over her new hair color: blonde (see the video above of McPhee promoting her new album). Not to mention she cut off quite a bit of length.
For those of you familiar with Katharine McPhee, it comes as a surprise that she would change her beautiful look and throw it out the window for something less feminine. Either way, it’s not like she doesn’t look good – but I don’t think she will get the same “head turn” reactions that she used to get with her old look.
“I’ve never dyed my hair before so this was a pretty drastic change,” Katharine said. “I’ve always been known as a brunette but I’ve been thinking about it for a long time and it kind of just fit with all of the searching with the music and experimenting that I would do the same thing with my look.”

She looks fine how she is! She's gonna go back to brown at some point soon, so enjoy the blonde for once! You're right; it's not like she looks bad. You could have posted a picture from one of her NYC events this past week to show people what it looks like rather than that video when it used to be really short.
Is this supposed to be a music review??? She is a singer/songwriter. What does her hair style have to do with it???
