Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz Get Married

Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz have kept their romance under the wraps pretty well over the past few years. They aren’t the high profile Brad and Angelina couple, but instead somehow manage to stay out of the limelight, and keep the affection limited away from camera. So, it comes as no surprise that the two got married earlier in the month without the press getting wind of it until after.

The two Oscar winners exchanged their vows in front of family and friends in the Bahamas earlier in the month.  Cruz wore a dress by designer John Galliano, who is a long time friend of the actress.

The couple originally met on the set of Jamon, Jamon in 1992, but did not start dating til almost three years ago.  The two have both achieved much success in recent years, beginning with Bardem’s Best Supporting Actor win for No Country For Old Men, and Cruz’s win in 2008 for Vicky Christina Barcelona.

What do you think about this Hollywood power coupling? Let us know in the comments!
