Is Ricky Martin Gay? According To His New Blog He Is!

Yup, I would have never guessed it...

In a move that will surprise just about no one, Ricky Martin has finally admitted he is gay. He has now joined the ranks of people like Lance Bass and Clay Aiken who no one was surprised about when they came out of the closet.  Here is the excerpt from his blog talking about his sexual lifestyle.

These years in silence and reflection made me stronger and reminded me that acceptance has to come from within and that this kind of truth gives me the power to conquer emotions I didn’t even know existed.

What will happen from now on? It doesn’t matter. I can only focus on what’s happening to me in this moment. The word “happiness” takes on a new meaning for me as of today. It has been a very intense process. Every word that I write in this letter is born out of love, acceptance, detachment and real contentment. Writing this is a solid step towards my inner peace and vital part of my evolution.

I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am.

Martin will continue to be “Livin La Vida Loca” for a while longer it seems. Does it make me a bad person that I didn’t realize he WASN’T gay? Whoops….

  • The journalist who wrote this sounds really out of touch. "His sexual lifestyle" - what's up with that?? Is his sexuality all that important? Is he nothing else? An incredibly talented, successful singer who does amazing philanthropic work, who is raising 2 kids, who's is spiritually centered (unlike homophobic Christians) The journalist sounds like a sniggering 12 yo, an immature teen. Grow up!! And why on earth would you be "bad" for not realizing he was gay. Who you in trouble with?? Weird response...
