We want to hear from you – how do you search for Google?
Google.com has climbed the ranks over the years, and become the number one website in the entire world. There are of course many ways that you can use the favorite search engine of many; you can type “google.com” in your address bar, you can click a bookmark, use a toolbar, make it your homepage – and you can even GOOGLE it.
You heard me right – many people are actually googling “google.com.” I cannot tell you how many people I have seen type something into their google toolbar (not only google.com), including Google itself. Search trends show that people are actually searching for google.com on Google!
Instead of using their address bar, many people are googling .com domain names beside “google” – often time bringing up a page of search results on Google. This only adds to additional traffic that Google brings to their site. Which is great! I am always impressed with the success of the search giant. It is really neat to see how people use it daily, without even giving it a second thought.
