Facebook News Feed Gets Facelift. Photos of Redesign and How to Join the Waitinglist

Facebook is getting a redesigned News Feed. Why, you might ask? Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg says their goal is to “make the world more open and connected.” Their idea is to make the user experience as streamlined as possible, by having the news feed function like a newspaper.

Zuckerberg says there are three things they are focusing on in the new design: “Rich Stories – visual and engagingg. Your Choice of Different Feeds – dig into any topic that you want. And a Mobile Inspired, Consistnet UI – the same Facebook experience across all of your mobile devices and desktop as well.”

Here is what the new Facebook news feed is going to look like:

Goodbye Clutter
Hello bright, beautiful stories.

Bursting With Color
Vibrant new visuals bring your News Feed to life.

Fresh Feeds
Get Facebook just how you want it with your choice of feeds.

The updated Facebook news feed is slowly rolling out to users. Click here to be put on the waiting list before the changeover is complete.
