Restaurant Review – Dewey’s Pizza

Dewey’s Pizza puts a new spin on an American favorite. They claim to take it to the next level, and while you won’t find anything like gummy bear pizza at Dewey’s, you will find a viagra cheap lot original combinations and some old favorites.

Pizza creation at Dewey’s begins with the sauce.

You can choose from either a classic red sauce, of which we are all familiar, or you can choose their white sauce. The white sauce is a mix of garlic, olive oil, and a few different cheeses.

Next you choose your toppings. Here is where you can get a little crazy. Sure you can pick from any of the boring ol’ stuff like pepperoni, sausage, and the other ingredients you can find at Pizza Hut, but that isn’t why you came to Dewey’s. Try out the kalamata olives, capers, jalapenos, or black bean salsa for starters. Get crazy. Have fun. Make it original.

If you happened to have forgotten your imagination at home Dewey’s has provided several combinations for you already. How about the Edgar Allan Poe – a mix of olive oil, mozzarella-fontina blend, mushrooms, roasted garlic, kalamata olives, and goat cheese, with fresh tomatoes and parsley. Not feeling an 1800’s emo poet? How about philosophy? Socrates Revenge offers olive oil, minced garlic, mozzarella-fontina blend, spinach, black olives, green olives, feta cheese, red onions, and tomatoes. Both are delicious, and will leave you wishing you wouldn’t have forgotten your pack of gum at home.

Dewey’s also provides plenty more than pizza to make sure you have a great time. How about a full bar! Did I mention this is one of the few restaurants in Saint Louis you can find Rouge Dead Guy on tap? It’s a delicious beer for anyone that likes their hops hoppier. Trendy music also plays throughout the building, just loud enough to add to fun and energetic atmosphere of the restaurant.

The only downside to this restaurant comes as part of its popularity. Trying to catch dinner at Dewey’s can usually lead to a long wait. 30 – 45 minutes can be expected, but I’ve actually seen the line wrap around the building. So get there early!
