Coen Brothers Announce Next Project

True Grit, which was already a John Wayne film, will be “remade” but the duo is focusing more on sticking to the original novel rather than the film.

The story follows a 14 year old girl and a pair of lawmen who hunt down the girl’s father’s murderer in Indian Territory.  No actors are set yet, but it sounds like it will be a dramatic affair for sure.  It should also be a lot of fun to see the Coen’s due an old time western.
