Another Take By Zac: Film Review: jackass 3D

Reviewing jackass 3D is an easy task.  You can’t really say anything about it as it will spoil the surprise so you know your review will be short.  It’s easy to tell anyone that hasn’t enjoyed the show before that nothing will change here and if you loved it before so will you love this newest iteration.

The 3D isn’t terribly prevalent or interesting but when they go for it, it works, even adding humor to the picture possibly.  The real breakthrough for the formula (and maybe they did this in the 2nd film I haven’t seen) is their expert use of slo-mo.  No joke lasts too long, the hits don’t stop coming, and I laughed non-stop through out; not chuckling but doubled over laughing.

If you are a fan of Jack-Ass I can’t recommend it enough as I haven’t laughed this hard in a theater in years.  They have perfected the formula and it is kind of amazing they are still coming up with creative ways to entertain us.  One last thing, anyone who fears feces, little people, penis, farting, bodily harm, or bodily fluids probably need not apply; but I would encourage you to give it a try anyways.

jackass 3D is an A

P.S. Keep an eye on Ryan Dunn, I have never noticed how caring and helpful he is to these guys, some bit of humanity sneaking in there.
