Advance Screening of St. Louis Filmmaker’s ‘Give a Damn?’ Premieres Two Years After Plane Crash

St. Louis, MO. — 2 years after the tragic plane crash that claimed the lives of two pilots and seriously injured local filmmaker Dan Parris, the documentary is finally getting a public screening.

Today at 2:30pm at the Landmark Tivoli in U-City, “Give a Damn?” will be unveiled to a theater of 440 as part of the part of the Stella Artois Cinema St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase. The film, starring Parris and friends Rob Lehr and David Peterka, chronicles their journey hitchhiking across the U.S. to Europe and eventually Africa – in an attempt to educate viewers on global poverty.

Tickets are $12 and are available online and at the Tivoli box office.
