Mel Gibson Making Cameo Apperance in “Hangover 2”

This man has never experienced a hangover he hasn't enjoyed.

The Hangover had its fair share of cameos, but none of which topped Mike Tyson’s knockout comedy performance in the smash hit. The role gave a much needed publicity lift to the troubled boxer. So, why couldn’t that work for someone else in need of good publicity?

Troubled actor/producer/director Mel Gibson has signed on for a role in Todd Phillips’ The Hangover 2.

“It’s a done deal. Mel will make a cameo as a tattoo artist. Filming is taking place on the Warner Bros. lot, where a Bangkok set has been built, and Mel is expected to film his role in two weeks. Then the production moves to Thailand at the end of October,” said a source at Page Six.

I’m of the opinion that Mel is a bit off of his rocker, but I’m not sure if all the allegations against him are true.  I don’t think there is any reason I couldn’t enjoy him in a film. If anything a role like this would do its job perfectly, it would make me forget the obscenity filled rants recorded by his ex-girlfriend. Whoever is doing PR for Gibson should ask for a pay raise.
