Denis Leary stars as a burglar who, when abandoned by his getaway car mid-burgle, car-jacks a married couple and takes them hostage in their own home. Unfortunately for him their relationship is so dysfunctional that not even being taken hostage is enough to prevent their squabbling.

Intended to bring Denis Leary’s standup persona to the big screen the film never quite managed to match his on-stage acerbic wit. The film opened to mixed reviews and cycled back out of theaters pretty quickly though it has managed to develop a bit of a cult following over the years especially among people looking for a Christmas movie that runs a little darker than most. – TOK
